The 12-digit code used across retail in the United States and Canada. If your buyers, distributor or marketplace category asks for a UPC rather than an EAN, this is the pack to choose.

What it is
UPC-A is the 12-digit sibling of the EAN-13. Scanners treat a UPC-A as an EAN-13 with a leading zero, so the two families read on the same equipment — the difference is simply what your trading partner expects to see printed on the pack.
We issue UPC-A numbers the same way we issue EAN-13: one number to one customer, recorded in a shared sell-once ledger, delivered with print-ready images the moment your payment is confirmed. Buzzlytech is part of RNR Associates, New Delhi, and every order gets a GST tax invoice.
Where these numbers are used
Export cartons and retail packs heading to North America
Marketplace categories that specifically ask for a UPC
Distributors and importers whose ordering systems expect 12 digits
Inventory and billing software configured for UPC scanning
Read this first. Each number we supply is a correctly formed GTIN that scans on ordinary retail equipment and lists successfully on most selling platforms. It is not entered in the GS1 registry under your business name, and a minority of platforms and chain retailers check that registry and will only take a GS1-licensed number. If your buyer or marketplace insists on GS1, get a GS1 licence instead — we would rather say so than sell you the wrong thing. Not sure which code you need?
What arrives in your download
Every number as an SVG (any size, no loss) and a 300-dpi-class PNG with quiet zones and printed digits
A CSV and an Excel sheet of the numbers, stored as text so leading zeros survive
One ZIP with everything, plus per-number downloads from My Barcodes, re-downloadable any time
A GST tax invoice from RNR Associates
In every pack: numbers that pass the standard GTIN check-digit test · assigned to your account and never sold twice · in your dashboard within seconds of payment · no expiry date and no yearly charge.
How it works
Pick a pack size. From a single number to ten thousand; the per-number price falls as the pack grows.
Pay securely. UPI, cards, net banking and wallets through Razorpay. The invoice is generated at the same moment.
Numbers are reserved to you. Our sell-once ledger flips each number to sold under your account — it cannot be issued again.
Download and print. SVG, PNG, CSV and Excel are waiting in My Barcodes. Print at 100% scale with the white margin intact.
Questions people ask before buying
UPC-A or EAN-13 — which should I buy?
If the pack will be sold in India, Europe or most of Asia, EAN-13 is the safer default. Choose UPC-A when a US or Canadian buyer, distributor or marketplace category has asked for a 12-digit code. If you are unsure, ask us before buying and we will help you pick.
Will a UPC-A be accepted by the marketplace I sell on?
Most channels accept a correctly formed UPC-A at listing time. A minority verify the number against the GS1 registry and will only take a GS1-licensed code; if your channel has said so, a GS1 licence is what you need. We never promise acceptance by any named platform.
Are the numbers unique?
Within Buzzlytech and its sister ledger a number is issued exactly once and never resold. We cannot guarantee that a number was never licensed to someone else in the wider GS1 space; that overlap is rare, and we replace any number a retailer reports as clashing.
What do I receive?
Every number as an SVG and a PNG with quiet zones and the printed digits, plus a CSV and an Excel list, all downloadable from My Barcodes as often as you like.
Is there a renewal fee?
None. One payment, no expiry, nothing to renew.
Why buy this from Buzzlytech
One supplier for the whole stack
The same New Delhi team that builds and hosts your website and runs your marketing tools now issues your product codes. One account, one invoice trail, one number to call.
A ledger, not a spreadsheet
Every number lives in a database table that marks it sold the instant you pay, inside a locked transaction. A number cannot be handed to two buyers even if two payments land at the same second.
Proper GST paperwork
RNR Associates issues a sequential tax invoice for every order with the correct CGST/SGST or IGST split for your state, and admin can re-send it on request.
A replacement channel that actually exists
If a number is ever unscannable or reported as clashing, we void it in the ledger and issue a fresh one against your order — the old number is retired, never recycled.
Plain language about the limits
We tell you before you pay that these are not GS1-registered numbers and that a minority of channels insist on GS1. No fine print, no surprise after checkout.
