What it is

An EAN-13 is a 13-digit Global Trade Item Number: a country-style prefix, a block of product digits and a mod-10 check digit at the end. Scanners read the check digit to confirm the number was captured correctly, which is why a badly generated code fails at the till. Every number Buzzlytech supplies passes that check.

Read this first. Each number we supply is a correctly formed GTIN that scans on ordinary retail equipment and lists successfully on most selling platforms. It is not entered in the GS1 registry under your business name, and a minority of platforms and chain retailers check that registry and will only take a GS1-licensed number. Questions people ask before buying

Will these codes list on Amazon, Flipkart or Meesho?

Most marketplaces accept a correctly formed number — ours pass the format and check-digit rules — but a minority verify numbers against the GS1 registry and may flag or decline a number that is not GS1-licensed. We cannot promise acceptance by any specific channel, and we make no claim about how any particular platform runs its checks. If a platform or a retail chain has told you it requires GS1, buy a GS1 licence — our numbers are not a substitute for it.

Is the number registered to my company?

No. The number is recorded in our ledger against your account so it is never issued to anyone else, but it is not entered in the GS1 registry under your business name. That registry entry is exactly what a GS1 membership buys you; we sell the number, not the registration.

What if a code turns out to belong to someone else?

Within our own system a number is issued once, full stop. Outside it, the GS1 numbering space is shared with numbers licensed elsewhere, so we cannot rule out that one of ours coincides with a number already in circulation. It is uncommon, and if a retailer reports it we replace the affected number free of charge.

How quickly do I get the codes?

The moment the payment gateway confirms your payment the numbers are reserved to your order and appear under My Barcodes, together with SVG and PNG images, a CSV and an Excel list. If our stock of a type ever runs short at that instant your order is held as paid and completed as soon as stock is topped up — the payment is never lost.

Do the numbers expire or need renewing?

No. It is a one-time purchase. There is no annual fee, no subscription and nothing to renew; the numbers stay yours for as long as you use them.

Can I get a refund?

Because the numbers are issued to your account the moment you pay and cannot be un-issued, a barcode order is final once fulfilled. If a number fails a standard scanner test or was genuinely issued twice by us, we replace it. Please read the Refund Policy before buying.

Do I get a GST invoice?

Yes. RNR Associates issues a sequential GST tax invoice for every order — CGST + SGST for Delhi buyers, IGST for the rest of India — and you can download or have it re-sent from your dashboard.
